FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

Is this an official tourism board site?
No. VisitRwandaBooking.com is an independent Rwanda travel planning and booking-support site. We are not the Rwanda tourism board, the Rwanda Development Board, a government agency, an airline, a hotel, or a national park booking authority. Official permits, visas, park rules, and entry requirements should always be confirmed with official sources.
Do I have to book everything at once?
No. You can start with one thing, such as an airport pickup or a single transfer, and add more later. Many travelers begin with the part they are least sure about and build from there.
Can you help with gorilla permits and timing?
We can help you plan the logistics around a gorilla trek, including the early start, the drive to Volcanoes National Park, and how the day fits your itinerary. Permits themselves are issued by the Rwanda Development Board through its official portal, and we do not control availability or pricing. We will always point you to the official source to confirm and secure a permit.
Can you arrange airport pickup?
Yes. Airport pickup at Kigali International Airport is one of the most common requests. Share your flight details and we review availability and follow up manually to confirm a driver and price. Nothing is confirmed until reviewed.
Can I request only a private driver?
Yes. You can request a private driver and car on its own, for a single day, a specific route, or your whole trip. You do not need to book a full package.
Can you help if my itinerary changes after arrival?
Often, yes, though it depends on availability at the time. Plans shift, and we try to help with reasonable changes once you are on the ground. We cannot guarantee last-minute availability, so earlier notice is always better.
Do you provide instant booking?
No. We do not offer instant or automated confirmation. Every request is reviewed by a person, and we follow up manually. This keeps quotes honest and avoids promising something that is not actually available.
How do payments work?
Payment details are confirmed manually as part of your follow-up, once the specifics of your request are clear. We do not ask for card or bank details through this website, and we never request payment to secure something before it is confirmed. A dedicated payments guide for visitors is part of the site.
Do you work with RwandaPrivateDriver.com?
Yes. RwandaPrivateDriver.com is part of the same independent Rwanda travel network, focused on private drivers and airport pickups. For driver-specific requests we may coordinate with it, so you get local knowledge without juggling several providers.
